Until you experience it, you can't understand
how traumatizing ending a relationship or
marriage can be. You may never have spoken to
anyone about your feelings before; suddenly,
you're both frightened and overwhelmed by your
emotions: Shock, Disbelief, Denial, Anxiety,
Depression, Anger, Rage, Shame, Grief, Fear,
Sadness, Loneliness, Elation, Guilt and Relief. |

How
I Can Help You
Whether you are pursuing individual or couples'
therapy, divorce support, mediation or a
collaborative divorce, with the right
professional guidance, you and your family can
recover and move forward to start building a new
life. |

Individual Psychotherapy
Are you suddenly experiencing serious symptoms
that you've never had before such as depression
and acute anxiety? While these symptoms may be
temporary, they need attention. In our first
meetings, I will work with you to assess your
situation and address your needs. |
|

|
|
| |
Couples' Therapy
Have you and your partner become trapped in
negative patterns of interacting with each
other? Is this behavior gradually destroying
your relationship? Through careful attention to
what each of you is feeling, I can help you both
to reconnect and rebuild trust – all in a safe
environment that encourages difficult
conversations. |

Divorce Consultant
Choosing how to separate or divorce is possibly
the most important decision you and your spouse
may make. How you decide will impact your
children, your financial futures and your self
esteem. In the State of New York, there are four
options available to couples choosing to
divorce: Mediation, Collaborative Divorce,
Self-Filed, or Litigation. I can help you decide
which is best for you and your family. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Mediation
As a neutral mediator, I will facilitate the
discussions that you and your spouse need to
create a mutually acceptable agreement that
addresses every issue related to the dissolution
of your marriage and that will serve as the
foundation for your divorce: primarily asset
distribution and parenting plans. In choosing to
mediate with me, you remain in control of your
future. |

Collaborative Divorce Coach
While relatively new to New York State,
Collaborative Divorce has been practiced both
internationally and in the US for over a decade.
When choosing to have a Collaborative Divorce,
you and your spouse agree not to litigate but to
work with me and a team of collaborative
professionals in the fields of marital law,
finance, child development and psychology to
develop the best divorce and post divorce plan
for your family. |
